One of the most important things regarding private apartments is to make sure that the landlord has been informed of the arrival date and time of the new tenants, so that he may pass on the keys and possibly ask for direct payment.

1)Hotel reservations

1.1)CostaSur.com helps you to reserve rooms in a number of hotels on the island of Mallorca. This is easy to do and everything is organised directly between the hotel and the client.

1.2)CostaSur.com always publishes the hotels� prices. There may be changes in the hotel prices and in such a case, we will do our best to correct the online errors very promptly.

1.3)The payment is made directly with the hotel, under their own terms and conditions. In order to confirm a reservation with a hotel, the best method is with a credit card number, although you can also transfer a deposit for your first night�s stay..

1.4)If you were to arrive at the hotel at an unsocial hour, or after the closing time, you are required to inform the hotel.



2)Appartment reservation

2.1)CostaSur.com helps you to reserve many of Mallorca's appartments. The contract is easily made between the landlord and the tenant.

2.2)For appartments owned by professional landlords, the above rules for hotels also apply. In this case, please read the following information:

2.3)In order to confirm the booking of a private appartment, you are required to make a wire transfer of 30% of the full price, to be credited to the relevant bank details (depending on the chosen appartment).

2.4)The remainder of the rent will be paid in cash (Euros) when handed the keys of the appartment. Travellers cheques and credit cards are not accepted.

2.5)A deposit of around 100-150 Euros is usually left with the landlord when you pick up the keys, and this is duly returned upon leaving unless damage to the property has occurred.

2.6)Once the booking is confirmed, we will provide you with necessary information for you to contact the landlord.

2.7)MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE CONTACTED THE LANDLORD OR REAL-ESTATE AGENCY BEFORE YOU ARRIVE ON THE ISLAND, in order to establish a meeting time. Private apprtments are not like hotels which offer a 24 hour service. Owners tend to charge 40 Euros to those who come to pick up the keys outside normal social hours: (09:00-20:00).

2.8)The entrance and exit times are specified by the landlord when you receive the keys. The usual times are:
Departure: as from 11:00 hours
Arrival: before 15:00 hours
